New Track in Orange County

SoCal Racing and SRC are teaming up to bring monthly Mini-Z racing to Orange County!

SoCal racing has been running a 10th scale event at this location for the past 7 years. With the help of SRC, SoCal will be adding 1/28th scale racing to the roster. This will be a chance to show the 10th scale crowd what they are missing.

Where:
13810 La Mirada Blvd
La Mirada, CA 90638
(Behind the fire station)

When:
November 12th
December 10th
Practice starts at 10am, Qualifiers start at 11am.

Classes:
Beginner: Stock MR01/15, MR02, AWD. Any Kyosho or Iwaver Body allowed. Aftermarket upgrades are allowed. Modified FETS are not allowed. Pan car body's are not allowed. AD boards are not allowed.

Advanced: Modified MR01/15, MR02, AWD. Any Kyosho or Iwaver Body allowed. Aftermarket upgrades are allowed. Modified FETS are allowed. Pan car body's are allowed. AD boards are allowed.

This will be an outdoor event run on an RCP Track.

Bring your own power and pit tables. SRC will have a limited number of 15min charging stations.

There will be a $15 entry fee. One fee covers all classes.

If you live around Orange County, and have been looking for a regular Mini-Z event, this is it. Come on out and show your support.

We have some new stuff coming in next week (large radius outside turns) that just might be a nice fit for the event. Can you use some extra track pieces for your layout? RCP Tracks will most likely attend the event. We should be able to bring some give-away items as well.

Extras would be great!! But I think Rod is keeping the track simple for the first round.

Hi Guys.... That's awesome that you're coming out

Take a look at the layout and see what you think.

A few large outside turns would be a nice fit. Say... turn 3, 4, 5 and 6? I'll leave it up to you guys.

We're really excited about the event and look forward to seeing you guys there.

Rod H.
